Recently, Boam Joinery completed a stunning project in Nottingham where we fitted a beautiful Accoyawood door and door frame. The client wanted a door that was visually appealing whilst offering superior performance in terms of durability and security. After considering various options, we recommended an Accoyawood door due to its exceptional properties. Accoyawood Door Installation The installation started with the precise fitting of the Accoyawood door frame. Accuracy is crucial at this stage to make sure the door operates smoothly and securely. With the frame in place, we then proceeded to fit the door, making sure all measurements were exact, and the door was perfectly aligned. For this project, we equipped the door with a Heritage-style multipoint lock by Winkhaus. This locking system not only complements the aesthetic appeal of the door but also provides enhanced security for added peace of mind. Multipoint locks are highly regarded for their reliability and strength, offering multiple locking points that secure the door firmly in place. The applied finish was a dark grey called “Down Pipe” which added a sophisticated touch to the overall look of the door. Additionally, the glass by Harlequin-Stained Glass and hardware supplied by Toolfix Joinery contributed to the door’s premium feel. The result was a lovely Accoyawood door that exceeded the client’s expectations.
