At Boam Joinery, we recently had the privilege of supplying and installing bespoke European oak furniture for a new office fit-out at the world-famous Chatsworth House in Derbyshire. Known for its rich history and stunning architecture, Chatsworth House required furniture that replicated the elegance and craftsmanship of its existing pieces.
This project involved designing, crafting and finishing custom-made European oak furniture, ensuring that every piece seamlessly matched the classic aesthetic of the historic estate.
Each item of furniture was expertly crafted from premium European oak, chosen for its strength, durability and natural beauty. To maintain the timeless appeal of Chatsworth House, we applied a stained and spray lacquer finish, enhancing the grain whilst providing long-lasting protection.
The design also incorporated Glacier White Corian tops, adding a modern touch to the traditionally styled oak furniture. This combination of classic woodwork and contemporary surfaces made sure the new furniture complemented both the heritage of the building and the practical needs of a modern office space.
One of the key requirements of this project was to replicate some of the existing furniture, ensuring that the new pieces blended seamlessly with the original designs. Our skilled Joiners meticulously crafted each item, paying close attention to detail, including:
Once the furniture was crafted and finished to the highest standards, our team handled the installation process at Chatsworth House, achieving a perfect fit within the space.
