Boam Joinery has had a remarkable journey that began from humble beginnings. Founded by our Director Elliott Boam in 2003, the business started from a small damp unit in West Hallam Derbyshire with a small amount of old machinery. With a focus on craftsmanship and a passion for the industry, the company quickly grew, necessitating a move to a larger premises.
The next chapter saw Boam Joinery relocate to a unique and spacious location—an old church in Langley Mill. This larger space provided the opportunity to expand operations and accommodate the growing demand for our bespoke joinery services.
We are proud to say that we continue to invest in apprenticeships, providing valuable training and education to aspiring joiners. These apprenticeships not only contribute to the growth and sustainability of our industry but also ensure the preservation of our craft for future generations.
In addition to our dedicated team and apprenticeships, Boam Joinery also boasts in-house spray finishing facilities. This allows us to achieve a flawless and professional finish on all our joinery products, ensuring the highest quality and attention to detail.
In 2014, the company reached another milestone, moving to a 2700 sq. ft factory in Langley Mill, Nottinghamshire. This facility provided the ideal space to streamline production, enhance efficiency, and to continue delivering exceptional craftsmanship to our valued clients.
During this time, our team grew to include 7 full-time employees, each bringing their own expertise and passion for craftsmanship.
To this day, Boam Joinery continues to trade from this premises, serving clients with our bespoke joinery, windows, doors, staircases, and cabinetry. Our factory's location in Langley Mill allows us to conveniently serve the Nottinghamshire area and beyond, maintaining a strong presence in the industry.
